However, despite their best efforts, Urich eventually succumbed, leaving behind his wife and three children. Unwilling to give in to the void that was left in her late husband's wake, Menzies went on to dedicate her life to finding The Robert Urich Foundation, a foundation dedicated to researching cancer and helping cancer patients cope and recover. However, this wouldn't be the end of the tragedy. The story of Robert Urich and his wife is a sad tale, but also one that there is a good deal of hope in.
