Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fighting game by nWay released on consoles and PC in March 2019. During its debut, the game was praised for having solid combat mechanics but also was met with a swath of negative reviews. The criticisms ranged from the small size of the playable roster to the limited number of stages at launch. As a result, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid was viewed by many as a cash grab that was playing off of the nostalgia of the Power Rangers franchise. However, this did not spell the demise of the title and instead prompted the developers to double down and constantly make improvements to their game, taking into consideration both the insight of fighting game veterans and the feedback of the community.
