Twins fighting over toast

My 11.5 month old twins fighting over their breakfast. For those concerned - They had both already eaten toast and were baby led weaning so given as much as they wanted. They both had toast in their hands during the video. This video is over 6 years old. They are kind, generous, loving little people and are best friends. They were developing crucial social skills and this was a brief moment out of our day, not all of daily life. Research shows that forced sharing delays sharing skills and generosity. Children don't develop empathy until between 5-7 years of age. That part of the brain hasn't developed yet. We behaviour model with younger children and these two were no exception. this was just one of many little fights they had like all children do, who are too young to understand social norms. You cannot expect babies to understand adult social boundaries. Hateful comments towards the children have been removed.
