In this workshop led by Eduardo Montoya, we explore the use of NotebookLM as a tool to support metacognitive processes in the classroom. Unlike other generative AIs, NotebookLM allows you to work exclusively with the sources defined by the instructor—syllabus, competencies, and learning outcomes—which reduces web clutter and facilitates more focused work. Key points of the workshop: Pedagogical configuration: how to structure a notebook with the course's key documents to build a coherent working environment. Socratic method: using prompts that guide the AI ​​to formulate questions, support reasoning, and avoid direct answers. Meta-prompting: generating prompts from the notebook's own history to replicate configurations that have worked. Content generation: creating presentations, mind maps, podcasts, and quizzes aligned with the course objectives. Pedagogical reflection: review of the purpose of teaching, the forgetting curve, and the teacher's role in technology-mediated environments.
