Factory Update: The CNC Is Now Cutting Luxury Door Panels
The sun was out this week, so we kept it raw and let the cameras roll. Back in the factory at Preferred Joinery, Rob is on the CNC getting everything programmed and dialled in. You’ll see how the files are set up, how the toolpaths are prepared, and what goes into making sure each cut is clean and consistent before the machine even starts moving. While that’s running, Greg is working with Adigbo timber, machining and preparing components ready for the next stage. Adigbo is a brilliant hardwood to work with, but like any solid timber it demands accuracy and respect. You’ll see how we handle it in the workshop and how it moves through production. This episode is less scripted and more real day to day factory life. Machines running, timber moving, programming happening, and the team getting through the workload with the usual bit of banter in between. If you enjoy seeing genuine workshop process, CNC programming, and solid timber being turned into high end joinery, this one is for you.
