It became the ultimate platform for Sébastien Loeb’s legendary career, securing his first three World Drivers' Championships and helping Citroën capture three consecutive Manufacturers' titles between 2003 and 2005. The Engine: A front-transversely mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, restricted by a mandatory 34mm FIA air intake. It produces roughly 315 horsepower at 5,500 rpm but puts down a massive 570 Nm of torque at just 2,750 rpm—giving it immediate, violent acceleration out of slow corners.
