The new #Ducati #Monster has sparked controversy, but after testing it, the chatter has subsided: it's undoubtedly the most fun and easy-to-ride bike in recent years... if not ever. Its light weight and new riding position are the things that immediately strike me, while the Testastretta 11° engine remains a guarantee of tons of fun through the curves. Gone is the trellis frame, replaced by the aluminum Front Frame, which allows for a weight saving of nearly 50%. The electronics package is excellent as always, perhaps the most advanced on the market alongside those from KTM and Aprilia. The chassis, however, will disappoint those who like adjustments, given that the 43 mm USD fork on the new Monster is non-adjustable.
