Dry Lake, Tri State River View and Sneaky Horses 20260605-07

Location: Iron Ridge Campground, Lake Vesuvius, Ohio June 5 to 7 , 2026 Introspection = Lucille, Thor and I take a long weekend planning to canoe on Lake Vesuvius. We arrive at the Iron Ridge campground and quickly learn the lake is dry. I film the sunrise Friday morning, over the drained lake. Three of us, go searching for a lake with water and find Tycoon Lake which is beautiful and full of water. On Saturday we go down to the OH-KY-WV Tri-State Point to film the sunrise on the Ohio river from Kentucky. It is a more civilization based nature, then I usually film, but I think it came out nicely. After we found several yard sales on our explorations, and made several purchases. Back at camp, I went to the Paddle Creek Hiking Trails, and did some filming. There are about 46 miles of horse trails in the area, and I saw several horses. I do some filming Sunday morning, before we head back towards Pittsburgh. The trip follows along the Ohio river, and the route takes across some state lines multiple times. Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Easter Egg, 3 minutes of Horses at Paddle Creek.
