【カヤック事故】転覆 再乗艇 救助の実録

Kayak fishing in Uchibo on April 3, 2021. The wind picked up, and when I docked and turned around, I saw that the kayak had sunk and was unable to be re-boarded. While being mindful of my own safety, I headed to the rescue. With the help of Tsutsu Channel (   / @つつつ-v6h  ) and other senior kayakers (thank you, Kamechin!), we were able to safely bring the kayak back to shore. Fortunately, the conditions were ideal: the waves and wind were not particularly strong during the rescue, the location where the kayak sank was close to shore, the wind was blowing toward the shore, and I had friends nearby. We often see news reports of accidents, such as kayaks capsizing and going missing, but I believe that most of these accidents could have been prevented with proper knowledge, judgment, and practice re-boarding. I hope this video will inspire kayakers, beginners, those just starting out, and veterans alike, to reconsider safety on the water.
