Here, you can not only immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Korean ethnic group but also enjoy authentic cuisine while experiencing the true essence of everyday life. The lively floating market opens at 5 a.m. and usually closes by 8 a.m., though it extends to 10 a.m. during the summer. The market offers a variety of specialties and snacks such as hot soup with rice, blood sausage, dried pollack, fried chicken rice cakes, gimbap, rice cakes, and ginseng—delicacies hard to find elsewhere.
