مسرحية التركة الجزء الثاني الفصل الثاني
The play "The Inheritance" stars the late Abdullah Saleh Al-Musaybli. Here is a brief overview of his artistic career: He was born in Mukayras in 1936, during the reign of the Al-Awadhli Sultanate in that region, into a family known for its scholarship and religious knowledge. He and his older brothers migrated to Aden in the early 1940s and received their education in military schools. His Theatrical Beginnings In the latter half of the 1950s, Abdullah Al-Musaybli joined the British Oil Refinery Company in Aden, along with his older brother, the director, actor, and writer Ali Saleh Al-Musaybli. There, the brothers Ali and Abdullah met several individuals interested in theater, including Omar Awad Bamutraf, Yassin Bahri, and Mohammed Al-Duqmi, among others. Together, they founded the "Arab Theater Troupe," through which Abdullah Al-Musaybli found his outlet and participated in several productions, including "Our Girl Today," "A Crime at Night," and "Did You Kill My Brother?" as well as other works during the 1950s and 1960s. Radio Beginnings Abdullah Musaybli entered the world of radio, presenting a number of radio dramas. He and his brother Ali co-hosted the popular program "This South, Our Good Land" in the early 1960s. During this period, he also presented several theatrical performances outside the Al-Buraika area and became acquainted with a number of artists, including Mahmoud Arbad, Muhammad Madi, Omar Al-Rakhm, Abdul Majeed Al-Qadi, Abdul Hamid Fara', and others, in addition to the actors of the Al-Masafi Comedy Troupe. Television and Directing Beginnings With the launch of television broadcasting in Aden in 1964, Abdullah Musaybli found his niche in television theater through the play "The Lady of the House," written and directed by Omar Awad Bamutraf. He continued his involvement in dramatic works through radio and television in the then-People's Democratic Republic of Yemen. To commemorate the first anniversary of independence in November 1968, Abdullah Musaybli directed his first theatrical production, "Martyr of the Nation," which marked the first leading role for the theatrical actor Ali Yafai, as part of the National Troupe for Theater, Music, and Folk Arts. After completing that work, Abdullah Musaybli resigned from the Aden Refineries administration and traveled to the United States, where he spent nearly four years seeking to improve his living conditions. He took advantage of his time there to study television directing on an hourly basis. Upon returning to Yemen, he found himself unemployed. When he participated in the play "The Land," directed by Faisal Ali Abdullah at the end of 1973, the late President Salem Rubai Ali happened to see it and ordered his employment at the Ministry of Culture in 1974. He then traveled to the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) for further training and study, specializing in theatrical directing. Upon his return in mid-1975, he directed the play "A Family in Danger," which premiered in November 1975. Written by Ahmed Mohammed Al-Shamiri, it was performed by the Refineries Comedy Troupe and starred Qasim Omar. Abdullah Musaybli was tasked with supervising the first theater course during the period 1975/1976, organized by the Ministry of Culture for students from the governorates of Aden, Lahj, and Hadhramaut. In July 1976, Professor Mahmoud Najashi issued a decree establishing the National Theater Troupe and another decree appointing Abdullah Saleh Musaybli as its director. His works after 1976 include: Plays: The Inheritance, Part One, one of his most famous plays and a prominent Yemeni play, performed both within and outside Yemen. Our Girl Today. What you sow, reap. We and Fascism The Lover and the Ear of Corn The Fatal Individualism The Legacy, Part Two, 1991. His last appearance on stage was during the recording of this play in 1994. After 1994 until death He won the Yemeni parliamentary elections in 1993 and became a member of the Yemeni House of Representatives from 1993 to 1997, representing the Al-Buraika district. Death Al-Musaybli suffered from cancer from 1999 until his death on January 25, 2002, at the age of 66. He had three sons and two daughters. [1]
