【5月中旬】木更津内港公園で実釣調査｜白ギス・シーバス狙いで何が釣れる？

This time, I conducted a fishing survey in mid-May at Kisarazu Inner Harbor Park in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture. Last time, I went to Kazusa-Minato Port targeting sea bass, but the results were disappointing. Therefore, this time, I checked fishing reports around Kisarazu and headed to Kisarazu Inner Harbor Park. My targets were sea bass and Japanese whiting. My tackle consisted of a short-distance casting rig for Japanese whiting and a trick sabiki rig, which I was trying for the first time. The fish I actually caught was with the short-distance casting rig. It was a small goby. The trick sabiki rig was a bit difficult to handle for a beginner, especially in shallow water near the shore and using small hooks. My biggest regret is that the bait fell off easily, and I couldn't properly reach the target point a little further away. Someone nearby seemed to have caught conger eels at night, but the overall impression was that fishing was slow during the morning twilight hours. Furthermore, while there were signs of Japanese whiting throughout the Kisarazu area, it didn't seem like they would be easily caught at Kisarazu Inner Harbor Park alone. According to fishing reports from Joshuya, there were also reports of Japanese whiting, sea bass, black sea bream, and flathead at Shiohama Park, so I'd like to investigate Shiohama Park next time. *Please be sure to check the signs at the fishing spot for rules, restricted areas, and no-fishing zones.
