2026 Split Age Mixed Doubles Moneyball

The Picklr in Biloxi puts on the most creative moneyball formats around. I missed this event last year as I was out of town so I was incredibly excited to participate this year. Here are the details of the event: Mixed Doubles Split Age: One partner must be 50+ and one partner must be younger than 50 Double elimination 2 rounds of pool play with single games to 15 Every team makes it to bracket play with best 2 out of 3 games to 11 Ball is the Vulcan I team up for the first time with one of the best players in the state - Ethan Pipitone. We've faced off against each other several times but this is the first time we're on the same side of the net. Lots of challenges on this day: I struggled to find my form all day. Ethan stepped on my foot in one of the early rounds so he was hobbled by a badly sprained ankle for most of the day. Roster was stacked with great competition. Pool play started at 5PM and final match ended close to 11PM. #pickleball #mixeddoubles
