【Hanakito】 Born in Mitaka City, Tokyo. Raised while listening to various genres of music including rock and hip-hop, then achieved a study abroad opportunity to Latin America in their teens. Traveling to South American countries like Paraguay and Mexico, they immersed themselves in Latin music genres such as Cumbia and early Reggaeton. In their late twenties, they returned to Tokyo and were drawn into the world of club music, initially sparked by their experience as staff at "Aoyama Tunnel," gradually delving into house and disco music, which led to the start of their DJ career. After engaging as an event organizer in Tokyo, they made their second visit to Mexico in 2016. Stepping into the vibrant local scene of Mexico City, they officially began their DJ career there. From 2017, they relocated their base to Barcelona, energetically pursuing a style that blends house and disco with world music. In 2022, they performed at prominent venues in Barcelona such as "Apolo" and "la Terrazza," and collaborated with artists like Antal and Detroit Swindle at festivals like "Primavera Sound" and "Soundit." Starting from 2023, they initiated music production and planned the launch of the label "black gold mustard" in collaboration with Kyotaro Miula from Minami Deutsch. Their goal is to convey the musical inspiration gained from experiences in Tokyo and Latin America to Barcelona, aiming to create a more diverse and enriching music scene.
