Why drive between floors when you can take a lift! The Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore caters for cars that are either disabled or just too damn lazy to drive to the upper decks. The process is simple: queue up for the car lift (which during busy times can be quite a lengthy wait), then drive in when the door opens and the green light comes on. Once in, wind down your window and select the floor you want to go to (it shows on the panel what floors have available lots), then sit back and let the lift do the driving for you. Simples. Exiting is pretty much the same procedure, however not much space is provided to reverse your car into the bay that senses your vehicle to call the lift, so expect to do a many-point-turn or just pull out your lot to head in the opposite direction and then reverse back along the car park). No need to hit the floor button on the way out, it already knows to head for the ground.
