Arthurs Stone, Gower Peninsula - Wales

King Arthurs stone in the Gower, Wales sits on top of Cefn Bryn Common with fantastic views across the whole peninsula. It is thought to be a burial chamber from the Bronze Age. Legend has it that the stone started as an annoyance in King Arthur's shoe, so he threw it across the Loughor Estuary & by the time it came to land it had grown in size to 25 tonnes! The neolithic tomb is believed to date bak to 2500BC & is easily accessible via a short walk across the common from Reynoldstone. And what visit to Wales would be complete without a staring competition with a sheep & a pint in Arthurs pub! Why not stay at the pub? https://fave.co/36IuVgr If you like it please let me know by giving me a THUMBS UP & why not SUBSCRIBE to my channel to explore more of my adventures?
