"What Strange Paradise" with Omar El Akkad - Marino Workshop 2024
The 2024 Marino Family International Writers' Academic Workshop was held during Georgetown's New Student Orientation and featured a reading and comments by author Omar El Akkad about his second novel, What Strange Paradise. Following his presentation El Akkad wad interviewed by Georgetown students Grace Nuri, Nami Bolat, and Aayush Murarka. A Q&A session with the class of 2028 completed the program.
