Storm Herminia - Huge Waves on the North Coast of Cornwall
Short video of the massive waves whipped up by Storm Herminia on the north coast in West Cornwall. This was the biggest swell I have seen in a long time. Surf forecasting sites were predicting waves of 30 to 40 feet. It's always difficult to estimate the size of waves without a reference point, but these waves were definitely huge. Unfortunately I had lots of technical issues filming today, so the quality isn't quite what I'd have liked. That said you can definitely get a feel of the power of the sea.
