They will provide you with specific guidelines for your recovery, such as when to take medications, how to care for your incisions, and when to come in for follow-up appointments. It is important to follow these instructions to avoid any complications and promote healing. Tip 2: Rest and Relaxation After surgery, your body needs time to heal. It is essential to rest and relax as much as possible in the first few days following the procedure. Avoid any strenuous activities and get plenty of sleep. This will help your body recover faster and reduce swelling and bruising. Tip 3: Take Care of Your Incisions Your doctor will provide you with specific instructions on how to care for your incisions. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and change bandages as directed. It is normal to experience some swelling and bruising around the incision site, but if you notice any excessive bleeding or signs of infection, contact your doctor immediately. Tip 4: Protect Your Eyes from the Sun After ptosis surgery, your eyes may be more sensitive to light. To protect them from harmful UV rays, wear sunglasses when going outside.
