Through my flying, my goal is simple: to raise awareness of how common mental health challenges really are—and to remind people that it’s okay to talk about them. I invite passengers to share their stories and how they cope, all while introducing them to the unique and freeing experience of flying in a light aircraft, often for the very first time. Yes, for some, the flights may feel long or uneventful. But remember: it’s not about you.
