This video explains the quickest way to answer questions about financial statements and balance sheets, a frequently asked topic in the Level 2 Bookkeeping exam. It probably takes some people 40-50 minutes to create one. The key to this question is that it only asks about balance sheet items (assets, liabilities, and net assets), so there's no need to calculate expenses or revenues. Even with balance sheet items, if retained earnings carried forward and accrued corporate taxes are also asked about, you'll have to add up expense and revenue items to arrive at a profit, but these two are clearly throwaway questions, so you don't need to try them. I even skipped over those two questions in the video. If you can't answer those two questions, it won't affect your pass or fail in any way, so just accept that and focus on answering the other questions correctly! Also, if you can't solve them without writing journal entries and T-accounts, it will take too much time, so try the answering method introduced here that doesn't require you to write journal entries.
