For easy cleaning, the department chose vinyl seats and diamond plate flooring. The pump panel is equipped with a garden hose outlet which is plumbed through a heat exchanger which draws heat from the engine to warm the water for decontamination after fire responses. All compartments include a drying system for wet equipment. At the rear of the apparatus an outlet for the Firecom system was added so when backing up the apparatus, an officer at the rear can communicate more effectively with the driver.
