IT: Nelson Pinto e Isabel Costa sono una delle coppie più riconosciute del panorama tanguero portoghese, attivi come maestri, coreografi e organizzatori di eventi dal profondo amore per il tango argentino. Isabel è laureata in **Educazione Fisica e Sport e ha una lunga esperienza come insegnante, mentre Nelson ha iniziato la danza da bambino e si è poi specializzato in diverse discipline artistiche legate al movimento e alla performance. Insieme hanno costruito una carriera brillante che parte dalle danze sportive, dove hanno conquistato numerosi podi nazionali, fino a dedicarsi completamente al tango argentino, studiando con importanti figure internazionali e sviluppando una visione personale e profonda di questa danza. Sono i fondatori e direttori artistici della compagnia e scuola Ritmo Azul, con cui oltre a insegnare hanno curato spettacoli, seminari e workshop in diverse città europee e asiatiche, tra cui Nizza, Stoccarda, Londra, Madrid, Amsterdam, Macao, Pechino e Hong Kong. Nel 2011 e nel 2012 Isabel e Nelson hanno raggiunto importanti risultati anche in competizioni internazionali — inclusa la seconda posizione europea nella categoria “Tango Scenico” e il titolo di miglior coppia portoghese al Campionato del Mondo di Tango — dimostrando la qualità tecnica, l’eleganza e l’originalità del loro ballo. Isabel holds a degree in Physical Education and Sport and has extensive experience as a teacher, while Nelson began dancing as a child and later specialized in various artistic disciplines related to movement and performance. Together, they have built an outstanding career that began in competitive ballroom dancing, where they achieved numerous national podium finishes, before dedicating themselves entirely to Argentine tango. They trained with internationally acclaimed masters and developed a distinctive and profound approach to this dance. They are the founders and artistic directors of the Ritmo Azul company and school. In addition to teaching, they have created and directed performances, seminars, and workshops in several European and Asian cities, including Nice, Stuttgart, London, Madrid, Amsterdam, Macau, Beijing, and Hong Kong. In 2011 and 2012, Isabel and Nelson also achieved remarkable results in international competitions, including the European runners-up title in the Tango Stage category and the distinction of Best Portuguese Couple at the World Tango Championship, showcasing the technical excellence, elegance, and originality of their dancing.
