RARE!!! First Ever POV Surf at Lunada Bay, Palos Verdes on Easter!!!

Lunada bay is a right hand point break located along the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Dormant for most of the year, Lunada Bay lights up on large west swells. While it doesn’t turn on until it’s at least hard high, Lunada is the only socal surf spot that can hold swells above 25 feet. There are two access points, the north trail which is steeper, but closer to the break and the southern hiking trail, which is easier but drops you at the opposite side of the point. Unlike other socal surf spots, parking at Lunada is never an issue, and is free. There is street parking along Paseo Del Mar. Lunada Bay has notoriously been known for being the most heavily localized break in the country, and possibly the world, but is slowly changing due to ongoing litigation and greater publicity of the break.
