I Made A Huge Mistake | Why I Removed All My Mint From The Garden

I made a huge mistake when I planted mint about 5 years ago directly into the soil. I knew that mint would spread, but I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to control it at all. Thats why I am removing all of my mint. The wall that I built didn't even slow the mint down. It grew under and through the wall, spreading to my main garden. So this year I decided to dig it all up to get rid of it. I will still grow some mint but it will be in a pot this time. If you let mint flower it will bring tons of beneficial insects. They love mint for some reason. But it was just getting to be too much for me to control so I have to remove it from my garden.
