When the freedom fighters of our nation, who should be enjoying the fruits of their sacrifice, legacy, and pensions, are standing up against CAB3 whilst many of our youths are being destroyed by substance misuse, then the young generation must be ashamed. The freedom fighters spoke about their hopes that their struggle to secure Zimbabwe's independence would not be in vain. They spoke about the looting of national resources and an Army that, in their view, has been compromised and infiltrated by FAZ, turning it away from its constitutional mandate. They spoke about the principle of one man, one vote, yet CAB3 continues to violate that value. A President must emerge from the will of the majority. Leadership must be rotational and accountable, not a system where one man imposes himself and handpicks his preferred bootlickers. Equality and empowerment must benefit all Zimbabweans without discrimination. The Judiciary, they argue, has been captured by women appointed by ED not on merit, but through nepotism and tribalism. Parliament and the MPs have been reduced to instruments for maintaining one man's grip on power, rather than serving as institutions for policy making and advancing the best interests of the people of Zimbabwe. Mkanya Chiwenga, your freedom fighters have kindly sent their message of support. To Cde Henry Muchena, all retired service chiefs, and those still in service, the freedom fighters are hoping that you will do the right thing for the people of Zimbabwe. May the Good Lord and our dear ancestors rise and help reclaim the nation from what many perceive as the influence of the wicked Vene, ED, Tagwirei, and Zvigananda. To all the people of Zimbabwe, the freedom fighters vati: "Tiri pachirangano sekuuraya kwamaiita huku nembudzi." Together, we can reclaim our nation and restore the values that our liberators fought and sacrificed for.
