The Karoo celebrated its world premiere at the 2025 Caravan Salon – but not quite as expected. The Finnish start-up showed its aerodynamic caravan in its individual parts, but what we saw was revolutionary. This caravan was specifically designed for the new generation of electric towing vehicles, but also offers decisive advantages for combustion engines. In this video, we take you along for a detailed look at what makes the Karoo so special. This presentation focuses on the following features: Aerodynamic design: We show you the extremely streamlined GRP body, which reduces drag by 51% compared to conventional caravans. Complete self-sufficiency: We highlight the innovative energy system with a 6 kW lithium battery and solar panels that make the Karoo self-sufficient. Flexible floor plan: The folding and rolling interior bench can be converted into a double bed. We show how the compact interior still offers space for an optional cot and luggage for e-bikes. Outdoor lifestyle: The extendable outdoor kitchen, the large side hatch, and the optional awning make the Karoo the perfect base for outdoor living.
