"Remember The Name" // Vox Machina TRIBUTE Critical Role

This is my pmv, amv, or whatever it's called tribute to the amazing show based on Critical Role's first campaign Vox Machina as it stands at the end of season two! It's an amazing show with incredible characters and adventures. This show is what I believe to be the best representation of Dungeons and Dragons, or even tabletop roleplaying games, in media so far. The tone is epic, but still wacky like any home game is. Its characters are almost (*cough* Percival *cough*) all essentially based on the caricatures each class is depicted as in media, and yet they still manage to make them all feel unique, and fun. (Don't worry, Percy is still my favorite character; right before Vax) Obviously, it's a show, not a one-for-one creation of the campaign, but the way I see it, this is how I tell people stories of my own campaigns. The goofy, glorified, version of what actually happened. Packaged up to be more dramatic and easier to digest. I think this show does that perfectly, while even making some of the moments better than before! I haven't finished the whole first campaign's streams though and this show has only had two seasons so far so, I can only judge so much. In any case, this show hits all the right spots for portraying a beloved campaign and bringing to life these characters that I now hold near and dear to my heart. Each one has their own flaws, strengths, and moments of triumph and the show does a great job at juggling them all.
