55th Season Dekalb Youth Symphony Orchestra Performed on March 9, 2022 at the Perimeter College Campus of Georgia Sate University, Clarkston, GA. Artistic Director and Conductor :Philip Barnard Director Assistants : Tracie Moffatt and Christopher Harrison As this performance, the Orchestra's theme is going around the world for a glance, the orchestra director Philip Barnard has chosen this piece to represent Spain. Danzas Españolas was created by Enrique Granados, bringing us the spirit of Spanish and Catalan folk music. As the whole video was too long (17 minutes) , I broke it into 3 parts. This first movement - Danza Oriental is inspired by the Moors and Gypsies of Andalucia. I am uploading the movements II and III in separated videos.
