Graeme Strachan, commonly known as Shirley Strachan was born on January 2, 1952 in Malvern, Victoria. After joining the rock band called Skyhooks, the gained reputation as one of the most influential rock bands of the 1970s across Australia. With hits like Living in the 70s and it's rock and roll to me, he captivated the audience and left the deep mark on Australian rock music. Over the years, Shirley had developed a deep love for flying. He had already flown many planes and wanted to get the helicopter license. In fact, he'd already planned to buy a new helicopter once he gets his license, and take his family to surfing safaris. However, on August 29th, 2001, while giving the test in Bell 47G helicopter, something unexpected happened.
