Starmer’s downfall mercilessly mocked as Britain churns through seventh PM in a decade

Sky News Political Contributor Chris Uhlmann believes UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s downfall marks Britain’s seventh prime minister in 10 years despite winning a landslide just two years ago. “We used to call it the New South Wales disease where we got rid of premiers, then it spread to Canberra where we got rid of prime ministers, and now it’s spread to the UK, where they're getting rid of prime ministers,” Mr Uhlmann told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “Seven prime ministers in 10 years. Particularly in a system where you’ve got five-year terms and he won such a thumping majority just two years ago.”
