Huge Thank You Jon Usle for this "RAW FOOTAGE" of the Summit Fire showing Fire Fighting Helicopters Flying in and getting water out of California Aqueduct to Fight Fire. Jon said that he had to try and film while getting pelted by peoples, sand, dust, strong winds and rotor wash. Helicopters Used the California Aqueduct Water to Fight Summit Fire Firefighters battling the Summit Fire in Antelope Valley are using helicopters refilled from a California aqueduct as part of a massive aerial attack on the blaze. The Summit Fire erupted in the afternoon of July 11, 2026, near Jesus Canyon Road and East Avenue Z, just across the Los Angeles County–San Bernardino County line. It began as a small brush fire but has since burned over 2,690 acres with 15% containment at the time of my upload of this video. The fire is moving toward the Bridge Fire burn scar near Wrightwood, an area where nearly 100 structures were destroyed in a previous wildfire. 00:00 CH-47 Chinook Coulson Aviation N42CU or N43CU 02:29 S-64 Sikorsky CH-54B Tarhe AKA Skycrane N716HT Helicopter Transport Services 03:06 Sikorsky S-64F N600HX Helicopter Express 03:44 S-64 Sikorsky CH-54B Tarhe AKA Skycrane N716HT Helicopter Transport 03:54 TWO Skycrane's N600HX & N716HT 06:20 TWO CH-47's N42CU & N43CU 09:03 Skycrane N600HX or N716HT 10:28 Nice Family Watching all the action 10:30 Bell Bell UH-1V (205A-1) Iroquoi N15HX Helicopter Express
