Hitler has subjugated all of central Europe and Britain is desperately alone and still resisting. But the 12 divisions rescued from Dunkirk are almost the entire British army and now they are unarmed, which means that in case of an invasion it will be an easy victory for Hitler and at the same time it will be the end of the war. He believed that now, that the British had run out of allies in Europe and their troops had been defeated, they would capitulate. But although Hitler hopes that the British will enter peace talks, they show no inclination for that. Now his next goal is to occupy Britain and if he fails to capture it, he will burn it.
