Allen Vizzutti and John Hagstrom perform with the Wheaton Municipal Band

This is the premiere performance of Allen Vizzutti's composition "Mystic Warriors" for two solo trumpets and concert band. Commissioned for the 75th anniversary of the Wheaton Municipal Band, this performance was recorded live in Edmund Chapel on the campus of Wheaton College. Allen Vizzutti performs with John Hagstrom of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the band is conducted by its music director, Bruce Moss. The Wheaton Municipal band was founded in 1930, and performs weekly concerts each summer for thousands of local audience members.
