我們一家九口從台灣搬到美國已經整整一年了。過去的一年發生了很多事——我們收穫了許多美好的回憶，結交了許多新朋友；孩子們體驗了截然不同的國家和文化，經歷了許多人生中的第一次。當然，文化衝擊也帶來了一些傷感和情緒波動。 冬天，我們住在哥倫比亞河峽谷一位朋友的家裡，離我長大的地方不遠。能夠經常去看望我的父母（孩子們的祖父母），並與我們在台灣生活期間一直想念的叔叔阿姨和堂表兄弟姐妹們建立聯繫，真是太好了。最近，我們搬到了愛達荷州一處更穩定的住所，我們對此非常感激。但搬家之後，我們將迎來一段適應新環境的時期。 在今天的影片中，全家輪流分享了我們對摯愛的台灣的思念、我們目前面臨的挑戰、我們感恩的事，以及我們對來年的展望。上帝真是恩典滿滿，祂與我們同在，我們信靠祂。過去幾週，由於我們還在適應新家，努力為北愛達荷州寒冷的冬天做準備，再加上慶祝了我們寶貝女兒麗莎白的十歲生日，視頻製作進度有所滯後。 我們正在製作很多內容，希望很快就能與大家分享這些精彩的影片。一如既往，感謝大家的支持與祈禱，我們無比感激！願上帝保佑你們！ Stephen 全家 It has officially been 1 year since our family of 9 moved from the Taiwan to the U.S.A.. A lot has happened over this past year- a lot of good memories and friendships were made, the girls experienced life in a completely different country and culture, and so there were many 1st-time experiences. There were also some moments of sadness and emotions as culture shock began to set in. We wintered at a friend’s home in the Columbia River Gorge, not too far from where I grew up. It was a blessing to be close enough to regularly visit my parents (the girl’s grandparents) and build relationships with aunts, uncles, and cousins whom we have missed while living in Taiwan.Recently we moved to a more permanent home in Idaho, for which we are very grateful. But with the move there will be another season of adjusting to a new environment. In today’s video everyone takes a turn to share what we miss about our beloved Taiwan, what are some current challenges we’re facing, what we’re thankful for, and what we look forward to in the coming year. Truly God is gracious in all His ways. He is with us, and in Him we put our trust.We’ve been a bit behind in video production over the past weeks as we were still getting settled into our new home, trying to prepare for the cold winters of North Idaho, and we celebrated our precious Elizabeth’s 10th birthday. We have a lot of content in the works and hope to share these exciting videos with you soon. As always, thank you for your continued support and prayers. We are so grateful for you!
