TUNG PING CHAU HONG KONG | DISCOVER THE AMAZING GEOLOGICAL FEATURES HERE (How to get there, views)

Tung Ping Chau is an island in Hong Kong, part of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. It was known as Ping Chau. Tung is pretended to the name so as to avoid confusion with Peng Chau, another island in Hong Kong. When going there on public holidays, make sure to go to Ma Liu Shui ferry pier very early as there's a big chance for you not to get in the ferry on time, you'll end up waiting for hours and hours. The journey takes 1.5 hours or more. The hike around Tung Ping Chau takes 3 to 4 hours including breaks and photo shoots on the famous spots, quicker when you just hike fast around. There is also a nice camping site with toilets and some restaurants in the area. No payment for the campsite. You can also see some old village houses and the temple when you have a chance to discover other places in the island.
