Woodturning - the porthole candy box

English version: This is my second woodturning Video. The whole project has cost a lot more time than I expected. At first I restored an old porthole. Then I combined that porthole with a beautiful wood. My lathe helped me quite a bit. I bought this wood from an older guy, who had this one almost 40 years in his basement. I’m happy to send him the link and show him, what I’ve done out of it. So, I hope you guys like this Video too. The restoration is quite a bit long, but I wanted to show you the whole DIY process of this porthole candy box! A great thank you to all of you who supported my first video in that big way! Das ganze Projekt hat viel mehr Zeit gekostet als ich erwartet hatte. Zuerst habe ich ein altes Bullauge restauriert. Dann habe ich dieses Bullauge mit einem schönen Holz kombiniert. Meine Drechselbank hat mir sehr geholfen. Ich habe dieses Holz von einem älteren Mann gekauft, der dieses fast 40 Jahre in seinem Keller hatte. Ich habe ihm schon den Link geschickt und ihm gezeigt, was ich daraus gemacht habe. Also, ich hoffe euch gefällt dieses Video auch. Die Restaurierung ist ziemlich lang, aber ich wollte euch den gesamten DIY-Prozess dieser "Bullaugen-Bonbonschachtel" zeigen!
