Making Argentinian locro from Russia was strange, but also really beautiful. It wasn’t the most traditional locro in the world, but it was made with love, with family, and with a whole lot of Argentina ❤️ We’re an international couple living in Russia, and this year we decided to do something special for May 25th: a homemade locro, with the Russian in-laws as the guests of honor, and as much Argentina as you can fit into one pot. Julián took charge of the kitchen, searched for the ingredients, put the recipe together, and turned our apartment into a little corner of Argentina. While everything was slowly cooking, we drank Chilean wine, sang Argentinian songs... and yes, there was dancing 🙃 The most anticipated moment came at the end: the Russian in-laws trying locro for the very first time.
