Real Robot Battle Line (PS1) Playthrough - Part 1 - Duplicator (Roche Route/Perfect)

Ladies and Gentleman! Welcome to another playthrough of Real Robot Battle Line for the PS1 where this time in a New Game file i will be tackling the “Roche Route”. The Roche Route unlike the previous 2 with the Poseidal and Scirocco’s Routes will greatly change the units you have available and later on on further playthroughs on similar Routes so for this run, i will be starting a New Game as the Upgrade strategy that i have to use to optimize this route will be different in which to summarize abit, in the beginning i will not solely focus on the Gun Cannons but the main focus on Upgrades will be Musica’s Choir Demonic as in this path there will be many situations where she will either be Solo or in a serious disadvantageous position so its good to maximize her Mech as it’s a really good one. Part 1 of this playthrough will be in the Duplicator map and one thing you will notice is that i load a Cleared save file to then start a new run. Now the New Game+ feature of this game only changes the possible availability of 2 possible Secret Maps on specific Routes which both have steep requirements to even see then which i will not be able to showcase in the way i am doing those runs so like i explained before, those i will deal with later and in a different manner. New Game+ wont change anything in the game aside from the above as a Month ago, i stumbled upon a site of a review of Real Robot Battle Line where the user pointed out a Fake information where New Game+ is a “Hard mode” of sorts but of course that’s a misinformation. The AI of the game wont change, be more aggressive or the enemy will have any more troops in a New Game+ or their Mechs be upgraded more so everything besides the 2 possibilities of secret maps is a lie. To remember this map the enemies are Generic pilots on Graeas with the Commanders being Anton and Heckler on Bat-Shus and then Amuro’s Crew and Char will come in on turn 3. The strategy that use is mostly the same as my first run but more optimized this time around as i use my Generic Pilots on the Green Choir Demonics as bodies to bait the Commanders into attacking them and leaving thenselfs open for Glen and Musica as its good for those 2 to get levels and Amuro’s Crew and Char are all high leveled at this point. All of the Green Demonic pilots have the Guts spirit Command so using them as bodies to just defend is very much possible. This run however i got abit unlucky with Glen in the beginning as he would get hit by Critical Hits in the front and that of course puts him in danger so i have to do some inbattle savescumming to rollback the Critical with the better option being he just avoids the hit as they at best can only hit Glen with a 69% Hit Ratio from the front if they go for their Sabers which is the nature of this game and its many variables. Once this map is over i equip some parts on my units and then do some upgrades on Gun Cannons and a few into the Choir demonic and then i save the game.
