A Quaest poll released this Wednesday (July 15th) indicates that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) has 40% of the voting intentions against 28% for Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) in the first round of the 2026 elections. In the second round, Lula has 45% and Flávio, 37%. The poll was commissioned by Genial Investimentos and surveyed 2,004 people, aged 16 or older, between July 10th and 13th, through personal, in-home, and face-to-face interviews. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%. The poll is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number BR-07181/2026.
