Impacted Chicken Crop and How to fix it WITHOUT a Vet

Chicken Crop Impaction with a simple treatment. The first thing to do is be sure that she has an impacted crop, by giving the chicken a physical exam, when she is on the roost or first thing in the morning before the chickens leave the coop. It is best to feel the crop of the suspect chickens and see if the crop is hard or full feeling first thing in the morning before they have any feed. If you feel a hard, or full crop your chicken more than likely has an impaction. Chickens poop at night while on the roost, they are digesting all the food they had eaten throughout the day. In this video you will learn the easiest and safest way to treat this condition. Things to avoid if you have chickens with free choice of fresh grass in the spring months. The chickens will go to town eating this new grass, and it can cause a crop impaction.
