Nafplio was the capital of the First Hellenic Republic and of the Kingdom of Greece, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. Nafplio is now the capital of the regional unit of Argolis. It is an amazing mix of beaches and city and has the distinct feel of a Greek Island despite being easily accessible by car and only a couple of hours from Athens by car or trian. All films produced on this channel are shot at a normal walking pace so not only give potential visitors a good time frame for how long things may take but also give an intimate look at the areas filmed without promotion.
