RIDE THE STATE 2025 - CONNECTICUT - RECOVERY RIDE - BROKEN HIP - BE YOUR BEST - NEVER GIVE UP

The 15th Annual Ride The State Connecticut ride. We rode about 65 miles from the Boat House in New Haven to the State House in Hartford. Over 200 cyclists participated in this rainy, cloudy day of fun. It was my first long distance recovery ride to test my ability to tour long distances before setting out on a 440 mile tour of the Natchez Trace in the fall. It's been 4 months since I broke my hip. Intense Physical Therapy got me to where I am today. Never give up, do the work and your dreams may actually be realized.
