Life in Rural Japan 🇯🇵 | City Hall, Police Station, Grocery Shopping & Cooking Without a Rice Cooker

My first weekday off since starting work as a new grad. The internet finally got set up around noon, so I spent the afternoon running errands. City hall, the police station, and the post office — all in one day. 45 minutes of walking in the blazing heat left me completely soaked 😅 On the way home I stopped for groceries, then started making dinner. There was just one problem — I still haven't found the power cable for my rice cooker since moving. So for the very first time in my life, I cooked rice in a pot.
