IMSA: 1983 Ford Mustang GTP Documentary

A look at the 1983 debut for Ford’s front-engine Mustang GTP at the Road America IMSA event. Designed by Bob Riley, using a 1.7-liter 4cyl turbo, two cars were entered for Tim CoConis/Klaus Ludwig, and Geoff Brabham/Bobby Rahal. The original VHS tape, courtesy of Bob and Bill Riley, sat forgotten in a desk for more than 30 years until it was unearthed during the summer of 2017.
