Sedge warbler singing / Rákosník proužkovaný zpěv, Mutěnice, 31.5.2026

Shortly after encountering the chaffinch, I came across this songbird while walking around the Mutěnice ponds. I'm not completely sure about the species, but hopefully I've at least identified the correct genus. This bird was much farther away than the chaffinch, so its song comes through less clearly. Another bird was also singing from nearby cover, remaining out of sight, and occasionally it overpowers the song of the bird in the video. Při cestě kolem Mutěnických rybníků jsem krátce po setkání s pěnkavou narazil na tohoto zpěváčka. U něj si nejsem úplně jistý určením druhu, tak snad jsem trefil alespoň rod. 🙂 Tento už byl o poznání dál než pěnkava, takže je slyšet méně. V nedalekém křoví se zároveň skrýval ještě další jedinec, který však nebyl vidět, a místy ho svým zpěvem přehlušuje.
