Des élèves du 93 dénoncent la vétusté de leur lycée, les profs convoqués

EDUCATION - They see it as "a logic of intimidation." Four teachers from the Blaise-Cendrars high school in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis) who participated in a video denouncing the dilapidated state of their school that went viral on the social network TikTok have been summoned by their superiors on Friday, March 15, AFP learned Thursday from the school's teaching staff and unions. "We're at Blaise-Cendrars, of course we have a bucket for leaks because we don't even have a ceiling anymore." In a minute and a half, in a tone that was both fatalistic and detached, students and teachers from the Blaise-Cendrars high school in Sevran painted a bleak picture of their school, highlighting its defective equipment, lack of maintenance, and deteriorating teaching conditions, as you can see in the video. First published on TikTok a week ago, these images have been viewed millions of times on the platform and other social media. This action went viral as, for the past twenty days, teachers, students, and parents have been staging protests to demand more resources for schools in the poorest department of metropolitan France, while also opposing the ability grouping proposed by Gabriel Attal. During a strike day on March 7, HuffPost interviewed several teachers who shared the same concerns as the students at Blaise-Cendrars High School. #France #Education #Teachers ----- Subscribe to the HuffPost YouTube channel now:    / lehuffpost   For more HuffPost content: Website: https://www.huffingtonpost.fr/ Facebook:   / lehuffpost   Twitter:   / lehuffpost   Instagram:   / lehuffpost   To receive our free daily newsletter: https://www.huffingtonpost.fr/newslet...
