Guest Hollow's Actions and Reactions Science Curriculum Flip Through | Homeschool Science Curriculum

Are you looking for a fun, interactive, and literature-based approach to teaching physics and chemistry to your elementary-aged students? If so, this curriculum might be for you! I'll be using this curriculum with my 4 children aged 9-13 in the upcoming school year. This curriculum is created for students in 1st through 6th grade, but looks to be easily adaptable to suit some middle school students as well. With the purchase of this curriculum, you will received a download about PDF containing the "road map" to teaching Chemistry and Physics in a fun and engaging way. You will need to additionally purchase the books to go along with this curriculum, but the book and activities list is very well laid out, and there are so many options that you can certainly pick and choose which books and activities you want to add and which you want to leave out. The primary or "spine" of this 32 week curriculum is Apologia's Exploring Creation with Chemistry and Physics, so you will probably want to be sure to purchase that textbook. Once I took at look at the book list, I was able to determine that I would be able to check a good deal of them out of my local library. And those that weren't there, I have learned that I can "request" that my library purchase the book for me! Definitely look into if your local library will do that! Along with all the suggested extra reading in both science and literature sections, this curriculum contains a ton of clickable links that will lead you to additional resources such as worksheets, copywork, videos and experiments.
