[ALS R151 155/156 - Joyride from EW10 Kallang to EW11 Lavender] Date filmed: 4 July 2026 Time of recording: between 2040hrs to 2043hrs Towards: (2) Tuas Link Train Model: Alstom Movia R151 Train Run: 316 Depot of Origin: Tuas West Depot Final Destination Depot: East Coast Integrated Depot Carriage filmed at: 12155 door A1/B1 area (No. 1 end) AM/PM/Full Day: PM Peak Service (Late Night Service) This video features an Alstom Movia R151, trainset 155/156, which is from Tuas West Depot (TWD) to serve the East-West Line (EWL) for the PM Rush Hours under the Saturday Schedule, from EW10 Kallang to EW11 Lavender stations, bound for EW33 Tuas Link. Trainset 155/156 is the 98th R151 to debut in Revenue Service on EWL, and ran as the first TWD PM Peak Slot for a Weekend, Train Run Number (TRN) 316. It seems that this particular Batch 2 R151s has a slight delay in opening and closing of the doors (by 1 second), and it seems to be much more smoother compared to other R151s where the doors would make a lot of noise when closing & opening. Hopefully this is something new that SMRT & LTA technicians are implementing to the Batch 2 R151s to address the 'door fault' that constantly happens on them, as the Batch 2 R151s are notorious for having door fault during Revenue Service. 📲 Follow me on socials!
