'Mr Malone' by Turlough O'Carolan, the famous blind harpist of 1700 Ireland, is one of the first tunes I heard in my life. The natural resonance of the nyckelharpa fits the light melancholy especially well. And oh the fun of trying to dress and look (a bit) like Carolan !
